Following the report prepared by MASAK regarding allegations of 'money laundering' and 'tax evasion,' which led to the seizure of assets and a travel ban for Dilan Polat and Engin Polat, a new court-ordered freezing measure has been issued for the couple's camp.
Journalist Murat Ağırel reported that a freezing order has been placed on the assets of lawyer Ahmet Gün, who managed the financial affairs of the Dilan-Engin Polat couple.
Sharing the written statement issued by the Dilan-Engin Polat couple, Ağırel said, "In my opinion, this statement was not written for the public, but seems to be sending a message elsewhere... Because this statement accuses/denies the MASAK report and those who prepared it. Contrary to what the statement claims, the file is actually expanding even further. Let me announce this to the public as breaking news.''
FREEZING ORDER FOR THE LAWYER
Ağırel shared the information, stating, "According to the information I received from the Criminal Court of Peace, a freezing order has been placed on the assets of lawyer Ahmet Gün, who manages the financial affairs of the Polat family, and 28 of his relatives (1st and 2nd-degree relatives)"
Dilan and Engin Polat have made a statement. The statement mentions that I am fair. This is true and not unique to the Polat family. It is a requirement of journalistic morality and ethics. Just as I am fair, I am a man of my word. I will follow this file to the end.
