Attack on CHP Kartal District Office: 'Hamas' written on building entrance and banners

The CHP Kartal District Presidency was attacked by unidentified individuals. It was observed that the phrases 'Hamas has arrived, Özgür run' were written on banners, and 'Israel=CHP' was written on the entrance of the building.

CHP Istanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik reported that the Kartal district office was attacked.

Özgür Çelik, in a statement on his social media account, said, "We will not learn the Palestinian cause from you! Our Kartal district office has been attacked by guided vandals whose service to whom is unclear, and who want to bring regional wars into our country."

Çelik continued as follows:

"We know who those who carry out this miserable act, which aims to carry the tension of the bloody wars in the Middle East into our country, draw their strength from. Our place is with the Palestinian people who are subjected to Israel's oppression every day."

"No one can threaten the security and peace of this people; those who do will find the CHP against them," said Çelik, adding, "The vandals who carried out this provocation will be found and will be held accountable before the judiciary! A press statement will be held in front of our Kartal District Presidency today at 17:30."
