Attacked in his office! Acting Marmara District Director of Agriculture and Forestry Yakupoğlu has died

In the Marmara district of Balıkesir, Acting District Director of Agriculture and Forestry Murat Yakupoğlu has lost his life in an armed attack he suffered in his office. Those who heard gunshots coming from the District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry on Marmara Island reported the situation to the police.

Police and medical teams dispatched to the scene found Acting District Director of Agriculture and Forestry Yakupoğlu unresponsive in his office. It was determined that Yakupoğlu, who had been shot with a handgun, had passed away. District Governor Elif Çelik arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation.

Yakupoğlu's body was sent to the Bursa Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy. An operation has been launched to apprehend S.A., who is alleged to have carried out the attack.
