Attacker who targeted Israeli Consulate discharged from hospital

Ahmet İmrak, who was hospitalized following the attack that took place in front of the Israeli Consulate in Istanbul, has been referred to court with a request for his arrest. The investigation into İmrak, who was taken into custody in an operation immediately following the incident, gained momentum as he was transferred to the courthouse after his treatment process.

HOSPITALIZED FOR TREATMENT

The incident occurred in front of the Israeli Consulate, one of the prominent centers in Istanbul. The suspect, Ahmet İmrak, had engaged in a clash with security forces there and was subsequently wounded and taken to the hospital. While police took İmrak into custody after the attack, no negative reports were made regarding the health status of the suspect, who was under treatment.

JUDICIAL PROCEEDINGS INITIATED

Following the attack, an investigation was launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. After Ahmet İmrak was referred to court with a request for his arrest, a detailed examination of the incident began. The suspect's connections before and after the incident will also be investigated.
