Retired Staff Colonel Orkun Özeller, who was detained and arrested following a complaint by MHP Chairman Bahçeli, was released in recent weeks.

An attempted attack was made on Orkun Özeller before a talk he was set to give in Beşikdüzü, Trabzon.

The physical intervention against Özeller was prevented by participants, including relatives of martyrs.

It was learned that the attacker is Ahmet G., an MHP Beşikdüzü district official.
