Attention Istanbul residents: Heavy rain warning from AKOM
The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Disaster Coordination Center (AKOM) has announced that thundery showers are expected in the city starting from the evening hours.

In the statement made by AKOM, it was noted that thundery showers will occur in Istanbul starting from 21.00 this evening, and that the precipitation will be strong from the night hours until tomorrow noon.
The statement, which also mentioned that intense lightning and strong winds are expected, indicated that the rainfall will continue until 17.00 tomorrow evening.
