Attention Istanbul residents! Some roads are being closed to traffic

The Istanbul Governor's Office has announced that some roads will be closed to traffic starting at 09:00 as part of an event to be held by unappointed teachers on Saturday, May 18.

The statement said, "The roads to be closed are: Macarkardeşler Street, 15 Temmuz Şehitler Street, Şehzadebaşı Street, Vezneciler Street, and the streets and avenues connecting to these roads will be closed to vehicle traffic from points suitable for traffic. Alternative routes will be Vatan Street, Kadirhas Street, Fevzipaşa Street, and Atatürk Boulevard."
