The General Directorate of Meteorology reports that, according to the latest assessments, the country will be mostly cloudy, with precipitation expected in the coastal areas of the Central Black Sea, the Eastern Black Sea, Eastern Anatolia, the east of Southeastern Anatolia, as well as the vicinity of Istanbul, Kocaeli, Bursa, Yalova, Karaman, Kahramanmaraş, Sivas, Sinop, Adıyaman, and the north of Balıkesir. 

Precipitation is expected to fall as rain and showers in coastal areas and Southeastern Anatolia, and as sleet and snow in higher elevations in other regions. Heavy and, in some places, intense snowfall is expected in the higher elevations of the inner Eastern Black Sea region, the east of Eastern Anatolia, and the higher elevations of Siirt. Haze and occasional fog are expected in the northern, inner, and eastern parts of the country. There is an avalanche risk in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea region and the northern and eastern parts of Eastern Anatolia.

MARMARA

The region is expected to be mostly cloudy, with light sleet in the vicinity of Istanbul, Kocaeli, Bursa, Yalova, and the north of Balıkesir, and light snowfall in higher elevations. Winds are expected to blow from the north and northeast, reaching strong and short-term storm levels (40-70 km/h).
