According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology; the country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected across the Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, Western and Central Black Sea regions, the interior parts of the Eastern Black Sea, the west of Eastern Anatolia, Southeastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Giresun, Erzurum, and Muş.

The precipitation, which is expected to be generally in the form of rain and showers, and sleet and snow in the Thrace region, the interior parts of the North Aegean, the interior parts of the Black Sea, and the surroundings of Bilecik, Eskişehir, Erzurum, and Muş, is expected to be locally heavy in the Marmara region (except Bilecik), the North Aegean coasts, and the coastal parts of the Western and Central Black Sea.

Icing and frost are expected in the interior and eastern parts, along with local mist and fog. There is an avalanche risk in the interior parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the north and east of Eastern Anatolia.

AIR TEMPERATURE WILL DROP BY UP TO 10 DEGREES

Air temperatures are expected to drop significantly (by 8 to 10 degrees) in the northwestern parts.

The wind is expected to blow from southern directions, light to occasionally moderate, and from northern and northeasterly directions in the Marmara and North Aegean coasts, where it is expected to be strong and occasionally reach short-term storm levels (40-70 km/h).
