According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected in the Marmara, Black Sea, and Eastern Anatolia regions, as well as the northern parts of the Aegean, the northern and eastern parts of Southeastern Anatolia, the eastern parts of Central Anatolia, and the surroundings of Eskişehir.

The precipitation, which is expected to be rain and showers on the coasts and sleet and snow in the interior, is expected to be strong in the coastal provinces of the Eastern Black Sea, as well as in Hakkari, Şırnak, Siirt, and the southern surroundings of Van. Haze and occasional fog are expected during the night and morning hours, along with icing and frost in the interior and eastern regions.

Temperatures are expected to be 1-3 degrees below seasonal norms in the northern and interior parts, and around seasonal norms elsewhere.

Winds are expected to blow from the northwest and west, and from the south in the southeastern parts of the country, generally light to occasionally moderate, and strong from the northwest in the interior parts of the Eastern Mediterranean, the south and east of Central Anatolia, and the coasts of the Central Black Sea.

STRONG PRECIPITATION WARNING

Since precipitation is expected to be strong rain in the coastal parts of Giresun, Trabzon, Rize, and Artvin, and sleet and heavy snow in their interior parts; and strong sleet and heavy snow in Siirt, Şırnak, Hakkari, and the southern surroundings of Van, it is necessary to be careful and take precautions against potential negative consequences (transportation disruptions, icing, and frost, etc.).

STRONG WIND WARNING

Since the wind is expected to blow strongly (30-60 km/h) from the northwest in the interior parts of the Eastern Mediterranean, the south and east of Central Anatolia, and the coasts of the Central Black Sea, it is necessary to be careful and take precautions against potential negative consequences.
