Austerity move from Bozbey: Official vehicles in Bursa Municipality put up for sale

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Bozbey announced that they have put the official vehicles used by the previous mayor up for sale.

While the estimated value of the Mercedes S400 vehicle is approximately 6 million 600 thousand TL, the estimated value of the Volkswagen Caravella 4x4 VIP vehicle is around 2 million 300 thousand TL.

Regarding the sale of the official vehicles used in the previous term, Mayor Bozbey stated, "We have decided to go to tender for the sale of these vehicles in order to prevent unnecessary expenditures and contribute to our municipality's budget. We need to set an example for employees in our own institution and other institutions. I want all our fellow citizens to know that we will first put an end to waste for our goal of making Bursa smile."
