Avalanche warning from AFAD
AFAD has prepared an avalanche map for Van's Bahçesaray district and warned citizens against the danger of avalanches in many parts of the district.

The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) Van Provincial Directorate has issued an avalanche warning for the Bahçesaray district of Van.
In a post shared on the Bahçesaray District Governorate's social media account, it was stated that an avalanche map of the district had been created.
PRECAUTIONARY WARNING FROM AFAD
The post stated, "We request our citizens to be careful and take precautions against risks in the areas marked on the map and other potential areas in our district, where there is a danger of avalanches in many regions according to the avalanche path map prepared by AFAD."
AVALANCHE HAD OCCURRED
On the other hand, an avalanche occurred this morning at the 41st kilometer of the Bahçesaray highway. Teams from the 11th Regional Directorate of Highways carried out work on the road, which was closed to traffic for a short time.
The teams, who had difficulty continuing their work due to fog, cleared the snow masses that had accumulated on the road.
