Award for LGS top scorers from the Istanbul Governor's Office

The Istanbul Governor's Office presented awards to students who achieved a perfect score of 500 in the 2025 LGS exam. The program held at the Governor's Office was attended by Istanbul Governor Davut Gül, as well as Provincial Director of National Education Murat Mücahit Yentür, school principals, teachers, and the students' families. During the ceremony held in the foyer, the students were presented with certificates of achievement. As part of the program, each student was awarded a scholarship of 5 thousand TL, a full gold coin, and 4 flight tickets to travel across Anatolia. It was announced that a scholarship would be provided for 9 months through the Istanbul Children's Foundation to support the students' educational lives.

Speaking at the program, Istanbul Governor Davut Gül said, "We are witnessing a historic day. It is one of the most special days for our children, our most precious ones. Just as we have done for the last two years, this year we are hosting our children who achieved a perfect score of 500 and became Turkey's top scorers, along with their teachers, administrators, and families. In line with the special importance our President places on our students and youth, we will continue to stand by them. We believe that our students who achieved a perfect score of 500 will provide many beneficial services to this nation. As the Istanbul Children's Foundation, we will provide each of our students with a monthly achievement scholarship of 5 thousand TL for 9 months, without any discrimination. Through Anadolu Jet, 4 flight tickets per year will be offered to our students living in Istanbul so they can get to know Anatolia. No matter where you study, do not forget that you belong to these lands. We have no intention of changing or transforming you. Be yourselves, be like your family. That is enough," he stated.

Nil Korun, who received a perfect score in the LGS, said, "I received a perfect score in the LGS. I owe this success to my school, my teachers, and my family. It was a really difficult process, but fortunately, the result was good. We are here today at the Governor's Office. A scholarship of 5 thousand liras has been granted to us. In addition, a full gold coin was gifted. Besides this, as far as I know, we were granted 4 flight tickets to travel and learn about Anatolia. We thank you very much for this."

Mustafa Bulak, another student who received a perfect score in the LGS, said, "I would like to thank my mother, my father, and my teachers during the LGS process. Because it was a difficult process. It was definitely a process where stress management was very important. My father helped me a lot with this, especially. I thank him again. Also, we are at the Governor's Office today. We are at a program where those who achieved a perfect score of 500 are gathered, and the Governor's Office gave us very nice things. I thank them very much for the tickets they gave us to go to Anatolia and for the scholarship they provided. My goal is Istanbul High School, and my goal after that is to be a good engineer. To do very useful work for my country, my religion, and my nation," he said.
