Ayşe Barım, who fell ill in prison, has been hospitalized
Ayşe Barım, who is being held at the Marmara Prison in Silivri, has been taken to the hospital following a sudden health issue.

The manager, who is the founder and partner of ID Danışmanlık Limited Şirketi, was arrested on charges of "aiding in the attempt to overthrow the Government of the Republic of Turkey or to prevent it from performing its duties" following an investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into allegations appearing in print and visual media regarding her participation in the Gezi Park-focused events in Taksim.
FELL ILL IN PRISON
Journalist Nevşin Mengü wrote in a post on her social media account that Ayşe Barım, who is being tried while in custody as part of the Gezi Park investigation, has fallen ill in prison.
"UNFORTUNATELY, IT WAS AN EXPECTED SITUATION"
Mengü stated that the manager, Barım, was taken to the hospital due to health problems she experienced in the evening hours. In her post, Mengü used the expressions, "Barım had a scheduled open-heart surgery before entering prison. She has 2 aneurysms. Unfortunately, it was an expected situation."
Barım's lawyer had previously notified the court that Ayşe Barım was suffering from several health issues.
