Ayyüce Türkeş comments on footage of Bahçeli caressing Sırrı Süreyya Önder's photo: May God resurrect everyone with those they love

İYİ Party MP Ayyüce Türkeş had wanted to visit the grave of her father, Alparslan Türkeş, on May 3, Turkism Day, but was attacked there. Türkeş, whose bodyguard and driver were subjected to violence, had reacted to the incident in a video she recorded. This time, Türkeş criticized the video in which MHP Chairman Bahçeli was seen caressing a photo of Sırrı Süreyya Önder.

DEM Party MP Sırrı Süreyya Önder, one of the chief architects of the resolution process, was recently taken into intensive care due to an aortic dissection.

However, despite all interventions, Önder passed away. A memorial ceremony was held for Sırrı Süreyya Önder at the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM).

Before the memorial ceremony, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli came to the Parliament after 99 days to offer his condolences.

It drew attention that Bahçeli caressed the photo of Sırrı Süreyya Önder while offering his condolences.

CRITICISM FROM AYYÜCE TÜRKEŞ

Alparslan Türkeş's daughter, İYİ Party MP Ayyüce Türkeş, shared that footage of Bahçeli on her social media account and made striking remarks.

Ayyüce Türkeş stated the following:

Alparslan Türkeş's (spiritual) children have certain distinguishing characteristics. All those who possess these traits are my (spiritual) siblings, regardless of which roof they are under. 

None of Alparslan Türkeş's children declare a baby-killing murderer a "founding leader," applaud those who do, threaten mothers of martyrs for criticizing them, make nationalists attack other nationalists, prevent a nationalist from performing their final duty to another nationalist, or attempt to reject Başbuğ Türkeş's children, unleash the mafia upon them to threaten them, or attack them.

The only thing I will say to you from now on is this: May God resurrect everyone with those they love.
