Azerbaijan Federation President attacked in Kemer: Wounded with a knife

Araz Musayev, President of the Azerbaijan Muaythai Federation, who was attending the IFMA U23 Muaythai World Championship held in Kemer's Göynük neighborhood, was wounded with a knife during an argument.

Azerbaijan Muay Thai Federation President Araz Musayev has been the victim of a knife attack.

Following the attack, the wounded Musayev was taken to Kemer State Hospital for treatment, while the 3 foreign nationals who carried out the attack were apprehended and taken into custody by Kemer District Gendarmerie Command teams in a short time.

According to the information obtained, an argument broke out between Araz Musayev and three foreign nationals for a reason that has not yet been determined.

The argument quickly escalated into a fight. During the incident, Musayev was wounded with a knife, and the attackers fled the scene in a vehicle.

INTERVENTION PERFORMED

Medical teams present in the area for the championship provided the first intervention to the wounded Musayev at the scene. Musayev was taken to Kemer State Hospital and subsequently transferred to Antalya City Hospital for treatment.

SUSPECTS APPREHENDED

The three suspects who fled after the incident were apprehended along with their vehicle in a short time and taken into custody. It was reported that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
