Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca and Emine Erdoğan, wife of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, traveled to Nigeria to attend the session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Member African Countries' Cancer Control Awareness and Support Program. Emine Erdoğan inaugurated the Nigerian Women Artists Association Painting Exhibition held at the Yunus Emre Institute.
Koca, who shared the visit on social media with the following words, received critical comments:
“During our visit to Nigeria with Ms. Emine Erdoğan, she inaugurated the Nigerian Women Artists Association Painting Exhibition held at the Yunus Emre Institute in Abuja. The people of Africa see the people of our country as their own, and their children see us as their elders. It is our duty to provide support and show interest.”
