'Traitor' backlash to Enes Kanter's Fenerbahçe jersey post

Enes Kanter claimed in a video shared on his social media account that he received a gifted jersey from Ali Koç and the Fenerbahçe management. Fenerbahçe Sports Club issued a harsh response to Kanter's post.

In a video post, former Fenerbahçe basketball player and FETÖ member Enes Kanter stated, "I would like to thank Ali Koç and the Fenerbahçe executives for this kind gesture. I am never left without someone calling or checking in on me. Looking forward to speaking on the phone again."

Following the post, Yağız Sabuncuoğlu shared a post stating that the jersey was old. 

Fenerbahçe Club issued a statement regarding Kanter's post titled "Fenerbahçe's Struggle Against Traitors Will Not End."

HERE IS THAT STATEMENT FROM THE CLUB:

Fenerbahçe's Struggle Against Traitors Will Not End 

We are making this statement regarding the agenda created by a traitor who dared to mention the name of our President and our Club today by telling the lie that he had been spoken to and sent a jersey, through a video he served on social media. 

This individual attempted the same method twice before, in June 2020 and July 2020, and the following statement was made to the public by our Club regarding the matter:

First and foremost, we would like to state regarding this individual, who is creating an unrealistic agenda based on lies with a classic FETÖ approach today; 

It is intentional that this baseless content was served on the day our President and Board of Directors visited our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Our Club's stance and attitude against these and similar terrorist organization members and traitors is clear. 

This attitude will remain the same today and in the future, just as it has in the past.

It does not surprise us that this organization and its individuals are still targeting Fenerbahçe today.

All necessary legal proceedings have been initiated for the identification and punishment of the individual and accounts that served and shared this video.
