Bahçeli holds phone calls with Özel and Kılıçdaroğlu

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli called elected CHP Chairman Özgür Özel. Bahçeli congratulated Özel on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli called Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel by phone to congratulate him on Eid al-Adha.

The first Eid greeting for CHP Chairman Özel came from MHP Chairman Bahçeli.

HE ALSO CALLED KILIÇDAROĞLU

Devlet Bahçeli called Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu by phone to congratulate him on Eid al-Adha.

Following the 'precautionary absolute nullity' decision regarding the CHP's 38th Ordinary Congress, MHP Chairman Bahçeli had stated the following:

"Kılıçdaroğlu must assume a historical responsibility to avoid hurting or damaging this deep-rooted institution, where he served as chairman for 13 years, and to prevent chaos. He should state that he is waiving his position in order to form a common formula regarding the future of the CHP by meeting with Özel within the framework permitted by law.

Outbursts such as 'we do not recognize the court decision' are unnecessary. One must act with a sense of waiver and responsibility; the only way at this stage is to reach a compromise."

HE WILL MAKE A 'CALL' TOMORROW

On the other hand, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli will make a call to Özgür Özel and Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu following the absolute nullity decision.

The newspaper Türkgün, known for its proximity to the MHP, announced that it will publish an interview with Devlet Bahçeli tomorrow.

It was stated that in the interview, Bahçeli will make a call to the CHP's elected Chairman Özgür Özel and Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was brought to the head of the CHP by the court.
