Bahçeli targets Özgür Özel, calls out DEM Party: 'Either you become a party of Turkey or...'

Bahçeli stated that the allegations regarding counterfeit dollars in the market were an "operation against Turkey."

Touching upon the developments in Syria in his speech, Bahçeli said, "Assad did not take the hand extended by Turkey. In our view, it is still not too late. Tel Rifaat has been cleared, now it is Manbij's turn."

Highlights from Bahçeli's statements are as follows:

The budgets of the ministries were discussed until November 29, 2024. Starting from December 9, the general assembly stage will follow. We will pause our group meetings for the budget discussions and continue with the general assembly proceedings. During the budget process, the MHP will act in accordance with the principles of the People's Alliance. I ask each of you to contribute within the framework of our party policies without paying attention to the provocations of cheap politicians and without giving an opportunity for bickering.

"THE TURKISH ECONOMY HAS LEFT BEHIND TROUBLED AND DIFFICULT DAYS"

The budget process consists of preparation, approval, implementation, and audit stages. The Turkish economy has shown uninterrupted growth performance for 4 years. While the siege of inflation is being broken, the cost of living is being repelled. The Turkish economy has left behind troubled and difficult days. Provoking the economy when there is no basis for it is a grave disservice to our country.

The fact that per capita national income has exceeded the 15,500 dollar level will devastate those who are suffering from an epidemic of pessimism. The rise in inflation is being broken. The disinflation process is beginning. Every one of our people will appreciate the opening of our economic horizon. Turkey has been growing uninterruptedly for 17 quarters. The siege of inflation is being broken.

ALLEGATIONS OF COUNTERFEIT DOLLARS IN THE MARKET

The allegations in recent days that nearly 600 million dollars of counterfeit money have been put into circulation are completely false.

The fact that currency exchange offices have abruptly stopped their buying and selling operations is an operation against Turkey.

The claim that the initial flow of counterfeit dollars originated from our southeastern border also suggests that the economic leg is active in the cunning attempt to overshadow the positive national agenda of recent days.

'THE TIME IS NOW' MESSAGE

The MHP is examining the issue at every stage. It is aware that the counterfeit money allegation was put into circulation intentionally. The MHP is in control of the agenda. First and foremost, if we say the Turkish nation, then the time is now; the matter is the homeland. The MHP believes that the Turkish and Turkey Century will make a leap in the goal of our financial and economic independence. I state that we will support the budget to the end. We do not have the mentality that says 'I have no worries, I have little food'.

CALL REGARDING ÖCALAN

Except for those who throw mud at the transparent thoughts we have shared with our nation since October 22, 2024, and those who receive attack orders from external channels, every person of common sense and conscience has confirmed our justification.

How are we to explain the legal personality of the state to those whose minds have been rented?

How are we to make those soulless and mindless political weathercocks accept that they are constantly turning for some reason?

What more can we put forward to explain and express that the potential for internal and external provocation, harassment, and destruction of our national security, national unity, and 1,000-year brotherhood is gaining different dimensions day by day, and that the sequential faction process aimed at closing the bloody accounts at the end of the term is being whipped up?

The stones that have been moved in our region have not yet settled into place. While one conflict ends, another is subsiding.

In the 14-year cycle of instability in Syria, front after front is being opened. The chaotic climate that suppresses the peace and tranquility environment, which governs the regional and world politics continuing in neighboring geographies, is hardening.

We must follow the hot developments that cover and affect other areas of our borders, especially Syria, with reason, patience, common sense, and attention. Without falling into the trap of madness and despair, we must adopt an appropriate attitude and stance regarding security measures that prioritize our country and our nation, remaining committed to the vision of the capital Ankara and holding onto geopolitical engagements.

'IT IS STILL NOT TOO LATE FOR DIALOGUE WITH ASSAD'

This is what the Turkish state is doing. Assad did not take the hand extended by Turkey. The head of state of a country whose soldiers flee the conflict zone is trying to keep his tail up. In our view, it is still not too late. It is in the best interest of Assad and his country for him to establish dialogue with Turkey without preconditions. It is our wish that Syria, with which we have the longest border, regains stability.

The Syrian Arab Republic is in a controversial position where two-thirds of it is out of control. Assad is trying to keep his tail up. It is in his country's interest for Assad to show a will for normalization. Turkey has no eyes on the lands, first and foremost. The Assad regime needs to realize this. It could not digest the Turkish soldier's fight against terrorism.

'ASSAD REGIME SHOULD COME TO ITS SENSES'

It is our wish that Syria, with which we have the longest border, regains stability. A dialogue between Turkey and Syria should be established without third parties. The return of Syrians to their homes must find life and ground immediately. We are not pleased with Syria being ground in the gullets of imperialism. The Assad administration must come to its senses. If the Assad administration thinks it will survive by retreating into its shell, it will sooner or later realize that it is mistaken. The geography of Iraq and Syria knows the Turkish geography. I would like to remind you that we have not forgotten the massacres committed by the Russia and Iran-backed regime forces in Aleppo.

The approach of considering the enemy a friend must be left behind. We cannot vacate the field until the YPG is finished. We cannot see any political movement that could plague Turkey as legitimate. It is our right to ask what those who bomb here and there at the edge of our borders are looking for, and to tell them to pack up and leave.

"KURDS ARE OUR SOUL, PKK-PYD ARE OUR MORTAL ENEMIES"

The DEM has still not been able to figure out where it stands. The developments have nothing to do with our Kurdish brothers. Life is forbidden to the separatist terrorist organization. Kurds are our soul, the PKK-PYD are our mortal enemies. The DEM Party will either become a party of Turkey or it will disappear. Either terrorism will end, or the terrorists will not be able to escape being live targets one by one. Our only wish is for Aleppo to find peace and tranquility. Aleppo is Turkish and Muslim to its core. We are not the only ones saying this; history says it, the Turkish flag hoisted on the Aleppo citadel says it.

'TEL RIFAAT HAS BEEN CLEARED, NOW IT IS MANBIJ'S TURN'

Our Kurdish brothers will also see that those removed from Tel Rifaat are murderers. Syrian lands belong to the Syrians. Tel Rifaat has been cleared, now it is Manbij's turn.

TARGETED ÖZGÜR ÖZEL

Political stability in Turkey is deep-rooted. The CHP management's eyes and brows are playing in different directions. It is not wrong to see that they are dreaming of an anti-democratic understanding. A longing for an interim regime has surrounded Özel and his team, who attack our legal professionals and press on the nerve endings of our nation. The CHP, with its funded media and 'DEM-ed' partners, has realized that they cannot achieve results through democratic means. The CHP has lost hope in the people. It is not wrong to say that the CHP is dreaming of anti-democratic pursuits.

Özel, who talks about changing the regime, claims that 3 out of every 4 young people want to leave the country, and scratches the sensitivities of our nation, has been keeping watch for guardianship. Mr. Özgür, your path is not the right path. Your tone is completely out of line. If you are aiming for a new junta, your entire lineage will suffer the consequences in the harshest way possible. The CHP has fallen for the call to power not through the love of the people, but through calls to the streets. After 67-68, the CHP sought the path to power by using idea clubs. My advice to anyone who wants to lay democracy on a funeral bier is that they must first crush us and pass us by.
