The opening of the Bakırköy Coast-Bağcılar Kirazlı Metro Line will take place tomorrow.
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu stated, "The Bakırköy Coast-Bahçelievler-Güngören-Bağcılar Kirazlı Metro Line, which will open tomorrow, is 8.4 kilometers long and has 7 stations. We have completed the 7 stations, which have a total of 105 thousand square meters of indoor space, as well as the landscaping and environmental arrangement works."
Uraloğlu will conduct inspections on the Bakırköy Coast-Bahçelievler-Güngören-Bağcılar Kirazlı Metro Line, which will be inaugurated tomorrow with the participation of President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and will make statements regarding the line at the Bakırköy Coast Station.
Stating that with this opening, Istanbul's total rail system network will reach 348 kilometers, Uraloğlu noted that within the first quarter of this year, following the Bakırköy Coast-Bahçelievler-Güngören-Bağcılar Kirazlı Line, they plan to complete and open the 14-kilometer section of the Halkalı-Istanbul Airport Metro Line between Arnavutköy and Istanbul Airport.
