Barbecue tragedy in Bayrampaşa: 2 friends lose their lives
Two friends who leaned against a wire fence while having a barbecue in Bayrampaşa fell from a height of 10 meters after the fence gave way, losing their lives. An investigation into the incident has been launched.

In the incident that occurred around 01:15 last night at the Bayrampaşa 15 July Democracy Bus Terminal, two friends named Halil Doğan and Uğur Bolat wanted to have a barbecue in an area surrounded by wire fencing on Ferhatpaşa Street.
According to allegations, the two friends, who were consuming alcohol, leaned against the wire fence during the barbecue. However, when the wire fence gave way, they fell from a height of approximately 10 meters into the bus parking area of the terminal.
Bystanders who witnessed the incident immediately notified the police and medical teams. Medical teams determined that Uğur Bolat, who suffered severe head injuries, had lost his life at the scene. Halil Doğan, who was in critical condition, could not be saved despite all interventions at the hospital to which he was taken.
Police teams took security measures at the scene and cordoned off the area. While the bodies of the two deceased individuals were taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue, a detailed investigation into the incident has been launched.
