According to Terkoğlu, who spoke with Ağırman, when Ağırman went to the Financial Crimes Bureau to give a statement regarding accusations involving 2024 tenders at the IMM, he was told "pardon" after he stated that he had left the IMM in 2019.
Terkoğlu provided information regarding the IMM indictment on the YouTube channel OnlarTV, where he appears alongside Barış Pehlivan, Murat Ağırel, Timur Soykan, and Şule Aydın.

Barış Terkoğlu stated on the program, "Today, I will announce an error admitted for the first time in the investigation," and noted that Ahmet Ağırman, a consultant to the General Manager at the Turkey Wealth Fund, which is affiliated with the Presidency, is a suspect in the IMM investigation.
Terkoğlu said, "If the court accepts it, he will be a defendant. I reached out to Ağırman. I asked him, 'How did you become a suspect in this file?' He told me the following with sincerity," and continued:
"There is a mistake. They called me to give a statement at the Istanbul Police Department's Financial Crimes Bureau regarding IMM tenders. They asked questions about the 2024 tenders. When I said I left the IMM in 2019, they said 'pardon' to me. However, a tender I was never asked about appeared before me in the indictment, and suddenly I found myself as a defendant."

Ahmet Ağırman, who served as General Manager at institutions such as BİMTAŞ, İSTON, and İSFALT A.Ş., which are subsidiaries of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), served as the Deputy General Manager responsible for facilities at the Istanbul Financial Center (İFM) in Ataşehir, which is affiliated with the Wealth Fund, in 2022. In 2025, he was appointed as a consultant to the General Manager of Mining and Investments at the Turkey Wealth Fund.
