BBP Chairman Destici and former AKP deputy's daughters hired at the Turkish Parliament

It has emerged that the daughter of former AKP deputy Necdet Ünüvar and the daughter of People's Alliance partner and BBP Chairman Mustafa Destici have been hired for staff positions at the Turkish Parliament.

A bureaucrat was dismissed to make room for the daughter of Necdet Ünüvar, who was appointed rector after serving 11 years as an AKP deputy.

It was learned that Ünüvar's daughter, Münevver Şeyma Solmazgül, receives a salary of approximately 100 thousand liras.

According to the report by Yavuz Alatan from Sözcü, Ünüvar, who served as an undersecretary at the Ministry of Health for 5 years and as an AKP deputy for 4 terms, was appointed Rector of Ankara University in 2020. 

BUREAUCRAT DISMISSED

Ünüvar's daughter, Münevver Şeyma Solmazgül, was recently hired at the Parliament.

In order for Solmazgül to be appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the Department of Support Services, a bureaucrat named Arif Erdal was dismissed from his post.

It was learned that Solmazgül receives a salary of approximately 100 thousand liras.

SON WAS APPOINTED IN 2013

Ünüvar's son, Alaattin Ünüvar, also received a government staff position in 2013, one year after graduating from university, by being appointed as an advisor by the then-Minister of Energy, Taner Yıldız.

Alaattin Ünüvar, who received a staff position at the age of 25 without taking the civil service exam, currently serves as the Deputy General Manager of Support Services at the Ministry of Trade. 

BBP leader Destici's daughter, Özgül Hilal Destici, also started working at the Parliament's Department of Strategy Development under a 'programmer' staff position.
