BBP Chairman Destici: We do not trust the terrorist organization, its extensions, or its ringleaders

BBP Chairman Destici received the management of the Ankara City Council at the party headquarters. During the meeting, which was attended by Ankara City Council President Halil Ibrahim Yilmaz and the heads of the Disability, Youth, Environment and Climate, Culture and Arts, and Diplomacy assemblies, the city's problems, social demands, and proposed solutions were discussed.

When asked by journalists about MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli's statements regarding a 'Terror-Free Turkey,' Destici said, "Cannot those who govern the state take steps? Of course, they can. An important step has been taken here as well. We said at the beginning of the process that 'We trust our state.' We also trust our People's Alliance partners, but we do not trust the terrorist organization, its extensions, or its ringleaders.

Because steps were taken in the past and unfortunately could not be concluded. Why? Because their strings are in the hands of others. In the hands of imperialists and Zionists. If they say stop, they stop; if they say walk, they walk. Those who refrain from holding the Turkish flag, which takes its color from the blood of martyrs and represents the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish nation. The concept of the Turkish nation is not based on an ethnic foundation; it does not only contain Turks; it includes Turks, Kurds, Turkmens, Arabs, Zazas, Circassians, Bosniaks, and Albanians. Alevis, Sunnis, we are all members of the Turkish nation. The flag is the symbol of our most important unity and our state. How are we going to shake hands with those who refrain from holding it? First, a spirit needs to be displayed here," he said.

Ankara City Council President Halil Ibrahim Yilmaz said the following in his speech:

"Today, we have organized the true voice of this land, where no one can marginalize anyone else, by bringing together the strongest non-governmental organizations in the city, from elected chamber presidents to members of that sacred profession defined as apartment staff, from a farmer in the countryside to a professor in the city, and from an opera singer to the muezzin of the Melike Hatun Mosque, and it was a poetic participation.

By visiting our chairmen, we are presenting a summary of the city. We have fought enough. People who are the same need to meet around the same tables as soon as possible and be resurrected. We need to reduce youth unemployment. We have 7 million university students. It is not clear where we will employ them. Therefore, we have 4 thousand university students in Ankara alone. We have 1.5 million young people.

In homes, the young population has almost confined itself to their rooms as 'home youth.' Turkey's biggest problem is the hopelessness of its human resources. Everything can be fixed, the economy can be fixed, but you cannot fix the hopelessness of human resources with a prescription or medicine. There is only one prescription for this. The smiles of the chairmen and those who are candidates for administration toward each other. We conducted a social experiment in civilian life that could be an example for politics. We said we can reach a consensus without distinguishing between our chairmen. Our party is Ankara. As 'Party Ankara,' we have put forward a social experiment," he said.
