Evaluating the match Galatasaray played against Göztepe, Baykam highlighted the errors he saw during the match and claimed that Galatasaray has finished the Turkish league.

In his post, where he stated, "There is no shame left that could be committed on behalf of Galatasaray," Bedri Baykam wrote the following on his social media account after the Galatasaray-Göztepe match:

"Unfortunately, the structure of Galatasaray has now finished the Turkish league. There are no real matches being played; everyone is acting as extras for the championship trophy to be handed to Galatasaray.

Unfortunately, I no longer have Galatasaray-supporting friends whom I congratulate for becoming champions. They have exaggerated so much and derailed things so far! If the penalties awarded in their favor in the Trabzon and Göztepe matches were awarded against Galatasaray, the Galatasaray management would hold two press conferences a day and march to the federation building with 1 million people!

Do not do to others what you would not want done to yourself! I would say there is such a thing as shame, but unfortunately, that too has been left behind.

There is no shame left that could be committed on behalf of Galatasaray.... And then people come out and keep blathering, 'Look, Fenerbahçe is so bad, there is this much point difference, that much point difference!'"
