Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli underwent heart valve surgery on February 4 and was discharged on February 14.
The MHP leader, who has been resting for some time, has not held his party's group meeting in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) for the last 2 weeks.
Following the emergence of various claims regarding Devlet Bahçeli's health, the MHP leader's advisor Eyyup Yıldız stated, "Our Chairman has been discharged and returned to Ankara; with God's permission, he will begin his work shortly after his recovery period."
On the other hand, it has been learned that AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will visit MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli at his residence today (February 19) after his party's group meeting.
