The investigation into the armed attack on Fenerbahçe stand leader İbrahim Gümüştekin, which took place on the night of December 30 in Üsküdar, Istanbul, has been completed. The indictment prepared by the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office claims that the attack was a continuation of organizational conflicts that occurred in previous years.

According to a report in the Sabah newspaper, the investigation file includes assessments regarding the hostilities between the Ay Group Criminal Organization and the Daltonlar Criminal Organization.

The indictment recalls that Halil Ay, the leader of the Ay Group Criminal Organization, was subjected to an armed attack on the Haliç Bridge in Istanbul in January 2023, before being killed at a farmhouse in France later that year.

THE DALTONLAR DETAIL IN THE INDICTMENT

The prepared indictment includes allegations that İbrahim Gümüştekin assisted the Daltonlar Criminal Organization, which claimed responsibility for the attack on the Haliç Bridge.

Within the scope of the investigation, it was alleged that the Ay Group held Gümüştekin responsible for the aforementioned attack. It is claimed that the attack plan was prepared and executed with the motive of taking revenge on Gümüştekin for this reason.

PHONE CALLS ENTERED INTO THE FILE

It was stated that the investigation file also includes findings that the suspects identified as having carried out the attack made phone calls to Abdurrahman Ay, who is alleged to be the leader of the organization, following the incident.

It was noted that the conversations in question were evaluated as evidence within the scope of the investigation.

PRISON DEMAND FOR 10 SUSPECTS

In the prepared indictment, it was requested that a lawsuit be filed against 10 people, including Abdurrahman Ay, who is alleged to be the leader of the organization.

The suspects were charged with "attempted premeditated murder with a blood feud motive" and "membership in an armed organization."
