NETANYAHU TARGETED THE CEASEFIRE
1) Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's goal is to remain in power at any cost. To this end, he continues his strategy of attacking Gaza with open-ended political and military objectives. So much so that the uncertainty of the "day after" has turned into an increasingly deepening contradiction between Netanyahu and the army.
On the other hand, the Biden administration and the Democratic Party are uncomfortable with the prolongation of the attack on Gaza and its escalation into genocide. Because the situation has turned into a heavy domestic public pressure, especially before the elections. Furthermore, Washington sees that the picture will also make its relations with Gulf countries increasingly problematic.
The Biden administration announced a ceasefire plan for this purpose. However, Netanyahu is resisting the ceasefire; he is circumventing it, putting forward new conditions, and trying to lead the negotiations into a deadlock.

In other words, the Israeli administration sent a direct message to Iran with the Haniyeh assassination.
Netanyahu wanted to turn the Al-Aqsa Flood into an opportunity to launch an attack against Iran. Undoubtedly, he needed the US, and even the UK and other Atlantic allies, for this. However, the US was against this for several reasons. First of all, Iran was not an easy target, and there is no American force that could add a new front to the Ukraine front.
