'Belly dancer' protest next to Murat Kurum
During a visit to Bahçelievler by People's Alliance IMM Mayoral Candidate Murat Kurum, a citizen threw a belly dancer costume at the accompanying AKP Bahçelievler Mayor Hakan Bahadır, shouting "Come on, make me dance," alleging that the mayor had previously threatened him by saying, "I will make you dance like a belly dancer."

People's Alliance Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayoral Candidate Murat Kurum visited shopkeepers in Bahçelievler. Bahçelievler Mayor Hakan Bahadır accompanied Kurum during the shopkeeper visits.

According to a report in Birgün, the footage reflected on social media begins with an audio recording. In the conversation allegedly taking place between the citizen and Mayor Bahadır, the citizen says, "You threatened me with death." Subsequently, the person identified as Bahadır tells the citizen, "Listen a little, you belly-dancer-looking person. I will make you dance like a belly dancer, watch out in Bahçelievler. I will report you to the courthouse."
On the other hand, no statement has been made by AKP Mayor Hakan Bahadır regarding the matter.
