Betting operation in 11 provinces: 139 suspects apprehended

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that 139 suspects were apprehended in the Sibergöz-24 operations.

Yerlikaya stated the following:

"In the 'SİBERGÖZ-24' operations, which were carried out in coordination with MASAK and simultaneously across 11 provinces centered in Istanbul, Diyarbakır, and Elazığ, targeting the crimes of Opposition to the Law on the Regulation of Betting and Games of Chance in Football and Other Sports Competitions (Law No. 7258) and Establishing an Organization for the Purpose of Committing Crimes, 139 suspects were apprehended!"
