Biden and Trump to face off in live debate for the first time: Date set
As the countdown continues for the presidential election on November 5 in the US, the first live televised debate between Democrat Joe Biden and Republican Donald Trump will take place on June 27, with the second scheduled for September 10.

As the race between Biden and Trump for the country's 60th presidential election heats up, the first announcements regarding the live debates that the public has been curious about have arrived.
Accordingly, Biden and Trump will face off on the CNN channel on June 27 and on the ABC channel on September 10, delivering their messages to voters in two live broadcast programs ahead of the presidential election.
US President Biden stated in a post on his X account that he has accepted the invitation from CNN to face Trump in a live broadcast on June 27.
Sharing a video on the subject, Biden also sent a message that he is ready to face Trump at any time and place, and argued that he won both live debates they held in 2020.
"JUST TELL ME WHEN"
On the other hand, Trump also stated in a post on the social media platform Truth Social that he has agreed to face Biden in live broadcasts twice, in June and September.
Trump said, "I am proposing more than two debates and, for the sake of excitement, I would like to do them in a very large venue, although Biden is afraid of crowds. Just tell me when, I will be there. Let's get ready to rumble."
