According to a written statement from the White House, Biden made an assessment regarding the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
"WE WILL CONTINUE TO WORK TO PROTECT CIVILIANS"
Stating that they will maintain their commitment to ensuring that civilians in Gaza continue to have access to food, water, medical care, and other aid, Biden said, "We will continue to work with all parties to keep the Rafah border crossing open to facilitate the continued movement of aid necessary to support the welfare of the people of Gaza, and we will continue to work to protect civilians in accordance with international law."
The first aid convoy since the conflict between Israel and Palestinian groups began on October 7 passed through the Rafah border crossing yesterday and entered the Gaza Strip.
