Bill regulating tourism and foundations passes Parliament
The bill containing regulations regarding tourism and foundations has been accepted by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) General Assembly.

Accordingly, travel agencies operating in Adıyaman, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, and Malatya—provinces affected by the February 6, 2023, earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş and designated as a "Disaster Area Affecting General Life"—will be exempt from the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB) annual fee this year.
Operators, marinas, ports, and coastal facilities, as well as those staying on ships or maritime tourism vessels, will be required to keep records of identity information and check-in/check-out dates.
An administrative fine of 25 thousand liras will be imposed for each advertisement on accommodation businesses that advertise, market, or sell their services electronically without the required documentation.
The maximum rental period for real estate belonging to the General Directorate of Foundations and managed foundations will be increased from 3 years to 5 years.
