Bloody ambush in Italy: Brother of Ümit Taş killed in hail of bullets

The identity of the 31-year-old Turkish citizen who lost his life in an armed attack in the Italian city of Livorno has been revealed. It has been learned that the deceased is Yılmaz Taş, the brother of Ümit Taş, who is known to the public as a leader of the Taşlar criminal organization.

According to an exclusive report by journalist Hatice Aksu, the incident occurred between Sunday night, June 7, and Monday morning, June 8, in a parking lot on Via di Quercianella in the Castellaccio area of Livorno.

Local citizens notified emergency services after finding Yılmaz Taş severely wounded around midnight.

Upon the report, medical teams and police were dispatched to the scene.

Taş, who received his first intervention at the scene, was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Livorno.

However, despite all interventions by doctors, he lost his life due to the gunshot wounds he sustained.

While the identity of the person or persons who carried out the armed attack has not yet been determined, the Homicide Bureau of the Livorno Police Department has launched a wide-ranging investigation into the incident.

It was reported that the file is being investigated under the scope of "intentional homicide."
