Body of missing businessman found in Samos. DNA matched with family members
The body of Yasin Cinkaya, a businessman from Denizli who set sail from the Didim district of Aydın on December 14, has been found in Samos. It was learned that DNA samples taken from his family matched the male body that washed ashore on the Greek island of Samos.

In Denizli, Yasin Cinkaya, a board member of the natural stone company Faber Mermer, could not be reached after setting sail from the Didim district on December 14 in his boat named FBR.
Following his family's missing person report, Coast Guard teams found Cinkaya's empty boat near Eşek Island. However, he could not be located. Search and rescue efforts, which continued by sea and air for days to find the businessman who is believed to have fallen from the boat, yielded no results.

It had been determined that Cinkaya's wallet, phone, and all other personal belongings were on the boat. In information shared by Greek authorities with Interpol, it was reported that a lifeless male body was found on the Mavrikos Mykalis beach on the island of Samos around noon on December 17, and that it had been taken to a hospital in Samos for autopsy and identification. As a result of this development, Ministry of Foreign Affairs officials contacted Greek authorities.
DNA samples taken from family members at Didim State Hospital were compared with the male body found. As a result of the comparison, the DNA samples matched Cinkaya.
It was understood that the missing businessman Yasin Cinkaya fell from his boat and his lifeless body washed ashore on the Mavrikos Mykalis beach on the island of Samos due to the current. It was learned that the funeral, which is stated to belong to Yasin Cinkaya, will be brought to Turkey.
