The deal to be discussed at the summit in Washington is considered one of the largest air transport acquisitions in recent years. However, Boeing, a party to the agreement, is at the center of the controversy.
In a report published by Amnesty International, Boeing was listed among the companies supporting the crimes against humanity committed by Israel in Gaza. For this reason, Turkey's massive Boeing purchase is drawing criticism from human rights advocates.
