Cengizhan Ramazan Doğan, who won a silver medal in the 79kg freestyle category at the 2024 European U20 Wrestling Championships, has received a 3-year ban for doping.
In a statement on the Turkish Anti-Doping Commission's website, the reason for the penalty was cited as the detection of the prohibited substance "boldenone" in the athlete's doping sample.
Accordingly, Cengizhan Ramazan Doğan will be unable to participate in wrestling activities for 3 years, effective from July 5, 2024.
