Stating that the license for the burned hotel was issued by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 1997, Özcan said, "I do not know if there is a fire escape or not. Since we did not issue the license, we have no information.
It was licensed by the Ministry of Tourism in 1997. The region belongs to the National Parks. It is outside our jurisdiction." he stated.
