Bonus for working retirees! 'Erdoğan gave the instruction'

AKP Group Chairman Abdullah Güler stated, "President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has given the instruction to prepare a study for a 5,000 TL bonus for working retirees."

Regarding the bonus payments, Güler also used the expressions, "With the instruction of our President, there is a detailed study underway regarding the provision of 5,000 TL to working retirees as well. The scope and details will emerge after the study is completed."

WHAT HAD HAPPENED?

The 5,000 TL retirement bonus granted to retirees on the 100th anniversary of the Republic had only been given to non-working retirees. The decision had been met with backlash from retirees.
