Bread price hike in Istanbul

The price of a 200-gram loaf of bread in bakeries affiliated with the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO) has been raised to 8 TL.

PRICE HIKE APPROVED BY VOTE

A vote was held during the ITO's November assembly meeting to determine the bread price tariffs for bakeries that are members of the ITO in Istanbul.

As a result of the vote, the Maximum Bread Price Tariff, prepared as "the price of a 200-gram loaf of bread will be 8 TL, provided that the price of 1 kilogram of bread does not exceed a maximum of 40 TL," was accepted in Istanbul.
