Breaking News: 2 arrests in METU incidents
It was alleged that a group attempted a provocation at the Middle East Technical University (METU) Spring Festival and tried to target METU students by claiming that the Turkish flag was being targeted by the same group. Following the tension at the Spring Festival, an investigation was launched, resulting in the arrest of 2 suspects, while 4 others were released under judicial control.

Allegations of provocation by a group affiliated with the Victory Party (Zafer Partisi) had surfaced on the opening day of the Spring Festival held at the Middle East Technical University.
An investigation was launched following the incidents at METU. In the ongoing investigation, suspects İlhan Kaya and Celal Almacı, who were taken into custody, were arrested.
Four other individuals detained in connection with the incident were released under judicial control.
