WHAT HAPPENED?
As part of an investigation conducted into Onursal Adıgüzel, an operation was carried out on Ataşehir Municipality by the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on April 18.
In the operation, which was carried out on charges of "rigging bids," "establishing an organization for the purpose of committing crimes," and "bribery," 20 people, including Mayor Adıgüzel, were detained.
It was stated that Adıgüzel, who was referred to the judgeship with a request for arrest following the prosecutor's office procedures, was accused of "establishing an organization for the purpose of committing crimes."
Within the framework of the investigation, a total of 19 people, including Mayor Adıgüzel, were arrested.
