Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli issued a written statement regarding current issues.

Addressing his remarks on the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) investigation and his support for the arrested organized crime leader Selahattin Yılmaz, Bahçeli reacted to claims of a crack in the People's Alliance. Bahçeli stated, "No one will be able to sow seeds of discord within the People's Alliance; even if they attempt or try to do so, they will not achieve any results."

Touching upon Israel's attacks on Gaza and the famine in Gaza, MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli also harshly criticized CHP leader Özgür Özel, who announced that they would call the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) for an extraordinary meeting regarding the famine in Gaza.

Bahçeli's statement is as follows:

At the same time, in different geographical areas, the fact that both the suffering of war and genocide prevail and the search for peace and tranquility is gaining momentum should be treated as the main characteristic of a strange and contradictory period.

The United Nations Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) has announced that acute food insecurity in the Gaza Strip has climbed to its highest level.

In this context, Gaza is in the grip of a dire food crisis, a catastrophic famine that is constantly expanding and should shake the human conscience like an earthquake.

A picture that would not be outdone by the Bengal Famine of 1943 is unfortunately recording an increase and progress day by day.

Encountering children dying of hunger in the first quarter of the 21st century, and beyond that, witnessing oppression and genocide, is not only sad but a source of shame for everyone who calls themselves human.

The terrorist state of Israel is shamelessly expanding its spiral of violence and terror to swallow Gaza—and even the West Bank—and to tear the oppressed Palestinians from their homes and lands.

The cruelty of driving and sweeping our Palestinian brothers and sisters living in the Gaza Strip towards the south is gaining ground through military and political operations by Zionist barbarism.

It will not fit into any faith or conscience for those who, resembling black comedy, aim to enter Heaven and oscillate like a pendulum between being apostles of peace and supporters of war, to applaud the murderers who turn the earth into hell and treat them like heroes.

First the occupation of Gaza, and subsequently the annexation plan, have been put into effect.

Zionist imperialist rage has practically gone mad and out of control.

International humanitarian law is being trampled underfoot.

It is indisputable that the world has rarely witnessed such serial murders and automated massacres as those in Gaza.

Following the Alaska Summit, and the subsequent meeting where European leaders looked into the mouth of the US President in a crescent shape in the Oval Office, resembling the silence of the lambs, the efforts regarding sending a United Nations Task Force to Ukraine should have been planned for Gaza in the first place; this would be the heart of moral and legal consistency.

The desire of the international community, which failed in Gaza, to knot the war between Russia and Ukraine with a peace agreement beyond a ceasefire is, in essence, nothing more than a concern for security and its provision.

It is also an undeniable fact that the security guarantees that form the main axis of the discussions essentially stem from concerns regarding Europe's security.

The imperialist master-mind, which aims to transition from ongoing and sustainable crises to frozen crises that can be heated up and put into circulation at any moment, has brought a conspiracy to the global agenda with a sauce of peace.

If the goal of peace and tranquility is sincere and genuine, preventing the humanitarian and historical catastrophe in Gaza is an inevitable necessity first.

The calls for peace and dialogue by our President towards conflict zones around the world, and Istanbul's prominence in this framework, should be seen as a beacon of hope in solving the worsening problems.

Ignoring these calls, which interpret the human conscience, is diametrically opposed to the measures of justice and truth and will escalate crises.

Turkey aims for lasting peace and tranquility both inside and outside its borders.

A Turkey without terrorism is the most obvious and clear example of this.

Our national unity and brotherhood are our only strength.

The Turkish nation is the symbol of magnanimity that embraces peace-loving and friendly relations.

Turkey's effort to ensure its internal peace and social tranquility without intermediaries and connections in our geography surrounded by fire is a tremendous event.

I believe that in the new century, a peace belt that never disappears around us will manifest with Turkey's capable, combative, human-oriented, and mercy-based diplomatic moves.

Honest, courageous, and intensive activities on this subject are receiving appreciation.

In particular, ending the war between Russia and Ukraine by riveting it with peace will be possible by completing the process that started in Istanbul, again in Istanbul.

Turkey is the voice of the silent millions and the unceasing breath of the oppressed.

While political and diplomatic shuttles are being made for a peace architecture in our north, ignoring our south and even clogging humanitarian aid channels is a pathological hypocrisy that the West has fallen into and is very difficult to cure.

Those who calculate and aim for Turkey to be within the United Nations Task Force, which is on the agenda to be deployed in Ukraine, must first and especially take a stand against the genocidal murderers and lock onto the option of a multinational intervention.

The effective responsibility in this matter undoubtedly lies with the United Nations, which has not been able to emerge from a coma and will not be able to do so at this rate.

As long as the blood flowing in Gaza does not stop, peace calls made haphazardly will only remain in words, and their bindingness and credibility will not be mentioned.

It is our exclusive view that the 10-point anti-Israel action goals prepared and announced at a meeting attended by international lawyers, academics, human rights defenders, and non-governmental organizations should be implemented and ensured immediately.

In particular, the cessation of arms shipments to Israel, the suspension of diplomatic relations, the cutting of trade and investments, the formation of a United Nations Peace and Task Force and its immediate dispatch to Gaza without further delay, and additionally, the inclusion of embargoes and sanctions on the agenda must be implemented urgently.

While a widespread and intense agenda is continuing in our surroundings with all its weight and sequential complications, the irresponsible and sloppy politics of the Republican People's Party (CHP) is destroying our democratic culture.

The CHP Chairman's announcement that they will call the TBMM to an extraordinary meeting, and basing this on the exploitation of Gaza, is a vain consolation.

There is nothing left to be said about the Gaza drama.

It is time for work and action, not talk.

Turkey's stance, which is embodied by the decision of an enterprising, courageous, and agile political will that takes every possibility into account, and the persistent views it shares in a regional and global context, are clear.

For this reason, there is no place or need for the TBMM to meet extraordinarily.

Furthermore, the wind of sedition blown against the People's Alliance by the CHP Chairman and his ideologically prejudiced and unprincipled supporters around him will have no value or importance in our eyes.

The People's Alliance is getting stronger every day.

Because the People's Alliance is a historic unity established in the squares on the night of July 15, based on moral, spiritual, and patriotic love for the homeland and nation.

None of the criminal elements of the shattered six-party table have the face to speak.

The People's Alliance is not a glass vase that can crack or be damaged.

The People's Alliance is the hope for the future, the horizon of independence, and the existential guarantee of the Turkish nation and Turkey.

No one will be able to sow seeds of discord within the People's Alliance; even if they attempt or try to do so, they will not achieve any results.

The People's Alliance is the power of faith, the strength of heart mobilization, and the political axis of the alliance of homeland and nation.

It is my sincere wish that the CHP administrators, who are ground in the cycle of bribery and corruption, understand and internalize this truth very well.

The Republican People's Party is sick; it has sold off its memories and dignity for a pittance with a crushed and defeated political understanding.

Moreover, it has turned into a bed for organized crime networks, a breeding ground for theft gangs, and a command center for a system of robbery and plunder.

It is clear that it cannot produce any visionary views or thoughts on internal and external issues.

The agenda and political deck of the CHP are built on lies, hypocrisy, slander, and gossip.

The Turkish nation will never give credit to such dirty, awkward, disabled, and hopeless political proposals.
