Speaking at his party's parliamentary group meeting, MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli addressed the 'absolute nullity' crisis within the CHP, stating: "What is happening does not suit the CHP. Polarization within the CHP has deepened. These developments are reaching a point that harms our democracy. Discourse and actions that increase provocations must be avoided. The Court of Cassation must issue its decision for the CHP as soon as possible."

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli spoke at his party's parliamentary group meeting.

 

 

 

Bahçeli made striking statements regarding the 'absolute nullity' crisis in the CHP and issued a call to the Court of Cassation.

The MHP leader stated, "The holiday has turned into a time when polarization has deepened for the CHP. The developments taking place are progressing from a level that does not befit the institutional nature of the CHP to a point that harms our political culture and democracy. Turkey's goals of counter-terrorism and social integration depend not only on security policies but also on political stability and social consensus. At a time when regional developments that closely affect our country and important stages regarding the 'Terror-Free Turkey' process are being recorded, our expectation is that actions and discourse that will disturb social peace, increase provocations, and are dangerous—such as physical struggle instead of legal and political struggle—should be avoided."

Continuing his speech, Bahçeli said:

"The Court of Cassation, which is the appellate authority for the court decision, must issue its decision regarding the appeal as soon as possible, given the sensitivity of the matter. Turkey's politics and democracy must not be allowed to be battered. From the very beginning, I mentioned the dangers of playing games over the CHP. At the point we have reached, we are witnessing attempts to create, and even legitimize, a perception of a divided CHP."

CALL FOR CLEANSING TO CHP

Regarding the operations targeting CHP-run municipalities, Bahçeli called on the CHP to 'cleanse' itself, saying, "Those associated with corruption should not be protected. First and foremost, the CHP must perform its own cleansing; it must cleanse and settle itself. Turkey is a state of law."

"A strong unity could not be achieved among Islamic countries. How much more suffering will it take to see this plain truth? Once again, our 'Jerusalem Pact' proposal must be handled seriously so that the Islamic world can stand up. The Islamic world must stand up and put Israel in its place. Palestine must be liberated.

The UN is dying. Institutions like the EU and NATO are losing blood. While a search for a new balance has begun in the world, it is essential that the Islamic geography emerges as one and whole. Turkey is ready for this.

"IF PEACE IS SOUGHT IN THE EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN..."

While Israel attacks Lebanon on one hand, it is terrorizing the West Bank on the other. Palestinians are being forced to migrate and are being ruthlessly massacred. If peace is sought in the Eastern Mediterranean, it cannot happen without Turkey.

This war should not continue any longer. Since Trump says there is nothing left in Iran that they haven't hit, then he should end the war. Let the people of the region breathe, and let humanity not worry any further.
