A tripartite summit took place within the CHP on Sunday, where CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş, and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu came together.
Ankara Mayor Yavaş had informed CHP leader Özgür Özel that he would not participate in the primary election.
