Turkey woke up this morning to a dawn operation. Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, whose diploma was cancelled, has been detained as part of an investigation launched into the municipality.
In the same investigation, Şişli Mayor Resul Emrah Şahan was also detained. A detention warrant has been issued for Beylikdüzü Mayor Murat Çalık.
