İmamoğlu's message is as follows:

Those who try to fix the economy they themselves ruined by making the nation suffer are once again placing an unbearable burden on the backs of our people.

God is my witness, we worked so that the suffering they inflicted on our nation would decrease. We worked so that our nation could breathe, even if just a little. We worked with all our might so that our people would not feel alone and helpless in this economic crisis.

Because our nation saw this, they never withheld their support from us. Because of this sincere support, they want to condemn us to prison and our people to poverty.
