The indictment requests a prison sentence of 2 to 4 years and a political ban for İmamoğlu on charges of "Attempting to Influence a Judicial Officer, Expert Witness, or Witness."

Within the scope of the same investigation, prison sentences of 6 to 14 years are requested for journalists Barış Pehlivan and Kürşad Oğuz, while 4 to 9 years are requested for Suat Toktaş, Seda Selek, and Serhan Asker.
WHAT HAPPENED?
IMM Mayor İmamoğlu had shared the name of the expert witness assigned to cases involving both himself and CHP-run municipalities with the public during a press conference titled 'The Big Radish' held on January 27.
An investigation was launched against İmamoğlu, who described the expert witness's past record, on the allegation that he attempted to influence the performance of judicial duties by targeting an expert witness assigned to certain investigations.
