Breaking News: First statement from Hasan Atilla Uğur, for whom a detention warrant was issued
Retired Colonel Hasan Atilla Uğur, for whom a detention warrant was issued in the investigation into the death of Kaşif Kozinoğlu, drew attention to the misinformation spreading recently and stated that he finds it normal for prosecutors to summon him for testimony.

Within the scope of the investigation conducted into the death of Kaşif Kozinoğlu, a detention warrant was issued for retired Colonel Hasan Atilla Uğur, who was Kozinoğlu's cellmate.
Uğur, who is stated to be in Cyprus, told 12punto that he finds it normal to be summoned for testimony as part of the investigation.
Stating that misinformation regarding Kozinoğlu's death has increased in recent days, Uğur said, "So much dirty information is being spread and disinformation is being carried out by FETÖ members for days that it is very normal for the prosecutors to summon me."
Stating that he will return to Istanbul in the evening and give his testimony, Uğur also reported that proceedings have been initiated regarding his cellmate Hasan Ataman Yıldırım.
Uğur's statement is as follows:
"So much dirty information is being spread and disinformation is being carried out by FETÖ members for days that it is very normal for the prosecutors to summon me. I am currently out of the city; I will return to Istanbul in the evening and give my testimony. Proceedings have also been initiated regarding my cellmate Hasan Ataman Yıldırım along with me. I think it is very natural for the prosecutors to summon me for testimony; it is extremely normal. I have no doubts; we told what we knew back then, and we will go and tell whatever we know today as well."
